HISTORY
LaRue County Water District #1 was founded in May 1963. The district had approximately 10 miles of water line, 175 customers, and one 85,000 gallon tank.
Today, the district has EIGHT WATER TANKS with 1 Million gallons of storage along with Six booster pump stations that use a state-of-the-art telemetry system.
The district serves approximately 4,500 Customers while maintaining 400 miles of water mains.
